The following is a general schedule for our retreats. We hold one
in the spring and one in the fall. Make
plans now to attend. We'd love to have you as our guest. At
every retreat, we ask for suggestions for improvements. One thing
quilters asked for was more time. You asked for it - You got
it! We are starting a couple of hours earlier. Our retreat
will be held in Albion, Idaho at the Marsh Creek Event Centre.
Albion is located 18 miles from Burley. If you are
interested

For our Spring, 2006 Retreat, we
made the Albion Tumbling Blocks quilt. Click here to see
an example of this quilt made by our good friend and tester, Pat from

For our Spring, 2008 Retreat we are keeping that under wraps. Our
retreats are themed - everything surrounds the theme. Past themes
have been: Quilting Stars, I'm Lovin' It!, Quilting is My
Therapy, Aloha!, Scrap

just say that's a very well-kept secret!
Our tentative schedule is as follows:
Day One
2:00 PM - Check in. Introductions. Set up sewing
area.
Bring your latest project or a fun quilt you did for a "Quilters Bring
'n Brag."
3:00 PM to 6:00 PM - We'll start off with a Wonder Cut Ruler
quilt.
6:00 PM - Evening Meal.
7:00 PM - Social Hour - We'll spend this time sitting around getting to
know everyone a little bit better and relaxing. I'm sure we'll
find time to quilt as well ;) ..
Day Two
8:00 AM - Breakfast is served!
8:30 AM - Let the quilting begin, again!
Noon - Lunch is served!
1:00 PM - It's back to quilting with a Wonder Cut Ruler Quilt. We
supply the kit.
6:00 PM - Evening meal.
7:00 PM - It's back to quilting for just a little bit.
9:00 PM - Lights out! Time to find a comfy, cozy place to place
to lay your head.
Day Three
8:00 AM - Breakfast is served.
9:00 AM - Back to quilting. Time to put the finishing touches on
your quilts.
1:00 PM - Time to pack up and head home.
Cost for the Retreat - $230
This includes 5 meals, and kits for two (2) quilts and a small quilting
project. Our
kits are pre-cut
to help speed up the quilting process. We'll have lots of variety
so everyone can take their choice of colors. You will be pampered
by gourmet meals (translation - no cooking or cleaning). You will
have "pressing princesses" at your beck and call (translation - we will
do
all your pressing for you). In other words, we
promise
a weekend full of quilting fellowship, lots of laughter, and all sorts
of
quilting surprises!
The price does NOT include lodging. Please contact Alice for more
information on lodging. If you are unable to bring your machine,
please
let us know ahead of time and we will have machines available for you.
