                                  Tools of the Trade
                                  You'll need the following Tools of the Trade for this project:

                                        Rotary Cutter & Mat
                                        Wonder Cut Ruler
                                        Neutral Thread
                                        Mini Read Easy Wonder Ruler

                                  Abbreviations

                                        WC - Wonder Cut Ruler Measurement
                                        HST - half-square triangle
                                        WOF - width of fabric

                                  First Things First
                                  Picking out your fabric.  This has got to be one area that gives quilters fits.

                                                   Decisions ...... Decisions ...... Decisions ......

                                  Let me make it easy and say you need to pick out just one color - your neutral.
                                  You'll need 1-1/2 yards of neutral. 
                                  The rest of your fabrics will come from your scrap box. 

                                  You'll need 18 different scraps that measure at least a WC 3-1/2 x 21". 
                                  Avoid directional prints because, you guessed it! 
                                  This quilt will have lots of half-square triangles (HST's). 

                                  Dig into that scrap box of yours and see what you come up with!  I was surprised at what I found!
